Janie Marie Davis

Janie Marie Davis of Seven Points, Texas passed away peacefully with her loved ones at her side on September 14, 2017 in Tyler, Texas. She was born February 15, 1944 to James Charles & Dorothy Ellen Barton Matheson. She grew up with 4 sisters; Glenda Madison, Midge Gervers, Patsy Oden & Dorothy Fisher and 3 brothers; Terry Matheson, James Matheson & Randy Matheson.
Janie attended North Dallas High School in Dallas, Texas. She was blessed with a daughter Deanna Lynn Nichole & her husband Lee. For many years she worked in the food service business. In Janie’s spare time she enjoyed being outside and playing bingo. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, aunt and a dear friend to many. Janie has a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Janie is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Randy Matheson, 2 sisters; Patsy Oden & Dorothy Fisher and 2 nephews; Tony Fisher and Larry Martin.
