James Wesley York

James Wesley York, 60, passed away on September 29, 2019.  He was born on January 29, 1959,  in Athens, Texas to the home of James W. and Donna Jean Riddle York.

After attending Eustace High he went to work for Hydes Furniture in Mabank, Texas.  He worked there for 13 years before becoming a guard for the Texas Department of Corrections.  He also drove a commercial truck before retiring in the Cedar Creek area.  In his retirement years he enjoyed fishing, collecting knives, and had a love for airplanes.

James is survived by his wife Elena; children Justin York and wife Connie, and Jeffrey York and wife Mandy; sister Debbie Mull and husband Dale; as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister Carla York.

James will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
