James Patrick Cavanaugh

James Patrick Cavanaugh, 67, passed away on May 9, 2021.  He was born on November 29, 1953, in Albany, GA, to Jack and Rachel Cavanaugh.

He worked for Hewlett-Packard for over twenty years in their financial management department.  James was a well-respected, good man, and everybody loved him.  He was always there for anyone in need.  He loved his family; he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He enjoyed the lake, driving around in his boat, and fishing with his grandchildren.  James will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cynthia; sons Robert Allen and wife Janice, Anthony Allen and wife Kim, and Chris Cavanaugh and wife Brook; grandchildren Chris Cavanaugh, Jr., Jack Cavanaugh, Cooper Cavanaugh, Austin Cavanaugh, Madeline Allen, and Phillip Allen; great-grandchildren Rowen Cavanaugh and Juniper Cavanaugh;  his mother Rachel Cavanaugh; sisters Pat McCoul, Nancy Nassar, and Phillis Cavanaugh and wife Alisa.

James is preceded in death by his father.
