James Noel Nelson

James Noel Nelson, 59, passed away on September 3, 2019.  He was born on July 15, 1960, in Dallas, Texas to the home of James Earl and Willena Wilcox Nelson.  He married his loving wife Carrol Ann Davis on February 13, 1981.

James began working at the young age of 16, learning many trades through the years, but his best work was in the field of HVAC.  He was a simple man leading a simple life, always believing hard work was the only way to get  anywhere in life, and that he did.  His priority was loving and supporting his family while remaining kind and generous to everyone he met.  James always gave a helping hand to his fellow friends and neighbors, never asking for  anything in return.  His life was taken from him and his family way too soon.  He just recently was diagnosed with cancer, and within a couple of months, lost his battle with such a deadly disease.  Heartbroken and devastated, his wife and family are still trying to piece it all together.

James is survived by his wife, Carrol Ann Nelson;  children Tasha Gail Baker of Tyler, Texas, and James Noel Nelson, Jr. and wife Rebecca of Mabank, Texas; grandchildren Kelli Lucille Thompson of Dallas, Texas, Tyler James Baker of Terrell, Texas, Justin Jacob Nelson of Dallas, Texas, and Madison Michelle Baker of Terrell, Texas; great-grandchildren Aubree  Ella-Leighann McCraw of Mabank,Texas, Aiden Lee McCraw of Mabank,Texas, Braxton Gene Woods of Malakoff, Texas, and Elyanah-Ann Holt of Terrell, Texas; sister Renee Davis; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a great many friends and  neighbors.  James was and will be truly loved and missed.

James is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Joel Ray Nelson and Bobby Gene Nelson.
