Jade Monique Harris

Jade Monique Harris, 20, passed away November 3, 2019.  She was born on May 9, 1999, in Denton, Texas, to the home of Travis Anthony and Sorena Anne Wachtler.

She graduated from CIA Pearson Testing Center in Farmers Branch, Texas, in 2018.  Jade was a loving wife, great mother, awesome sister, and amazing daughter.  She was always on-the-go spending time with her kids.  She loved thrift shopping.  She could multi-task like no other and was always on her phone.  Jade was a 4’11” happy, spunky redhead who loved to laugh and smile, always being the jokester.  She had several nicknames; her dad called her “Sparky,” her mom called her “Bug,” and her step-dad called her “Pumpkin.” She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband John Leo Harris, Jr.; children Amelia Maeann Harris and John Leo Harris, III; father Travis Anthony Wachtler; mother Sorena Anne Herrington; step-dad John S. Herrington; father-in-law John Leo Harris; mother-in-law Crystal Harris; brother Travis Anthony Wachtler, Jr.; and grandparents Randy Wachtler and Linda Wachtler.

Jade is preceded in death by her mother-in-law Jennifer Harris; grandmothers Wanda Callaway and Alice Herrington; grandfather Michael Brown; and aunt Shayna Michelle.
