Jack Richard Kale

September 7, 1958 — August 22, 2024

Kemp, Texas

Jack Richard Kale, 65, passed away on August 22, 2024. Those who knew him, called him Ricky. Ricky was born on September 7, 1958 to Lonnie Houston and Norma Jean Kale.

The most important thing to him was family. He spent as much time as possible with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anytime we could get the family together, he was always happy to be there. One of his favorite pastimes was watching wrestling. Man, did he love wrestling! When he had time, he always enjoyed going fishing. He was silly, funny and sometimes downright aggravating…he always loved to aggravate. He was a man of many talents, a "Jack" of all trades, he would say. He was always there if you needed him.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to many.

Ricky was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sallie Ethel Kale; parents, Lonnie Kale and Norma Sutton; sisters, Dolores Rooney and Linda Livingston; and brothers, James Kale and Floyd Kale.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children: Sallie Seay, April Burns and husband Marshall, and Curtis D. Seay II and his wife Vickie; grandchildren: Tiffani Bayless and husband Alex, Brittany O'Sullivan, Brittany Truelove and husband Dylan, Stuart Burns, Whitnei Seay, Hannah Seay, and Curtis D. Seay III; great-grandchildren: Dexter Prichard, Blake O'Sullivan, Xander Bayless, Guinevere Bayless, and Teagan Truelove; brothers, Lonnie Kale, Charlie Kale and wife Vicky, Lloyd Kale, Michael Sudderth; and sister, Mary Appling and husband Randy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
