Irris Elaine Gervers

Irris Elaine Gervers, 79, passed away on November 13, 2021.  She was born on March 25, 1942, in Dallas, Texas, to parents James Matheson and Dorothy Barton Matheson.

Irris is known by family and friends as Midge.  She loved her family deeply, and her face would shine bright when she was visiting with them.  Her favorite hobby was playing Bingo every chance she got; she didn’t miss very many days.  She cherished her Bingo friends and some were like family to her.  Midge will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by sons Marshall Martin and wife Linda and Kenneth Martin and wife Julie; daughters Mandy Gervers and husband John and Ronda Martin; bonus children Charla, Becky, and Roger; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Glenda Madison and husband Lee; brothers James Matheson and wife Cindy and Terry Matheson and wife Coby.

Midge is preceded in death by her parents; late husbands’ Rondald Martin and Gene Gervers; son Larry (Babes) Martin; sisters Patsy, Sissy, and Janie; brother Randy.
