Howard Everett Ford, known by most as Hal, went to his heavenly home on December 26, 2021, at 71, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on May 15, 1950, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Herman Howard Ford and Margie Nell Reed Ford, who preceded him in death. Hal was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and a Christian.
Hal joined the US Army, serving his Country honorably during the Vietnam War. Anyone who knows him knows of his continued passion for America, its history, and its values. Hal was always quick to share all sorts of trivia facts, as well as his endless supply of corny dad jokes.
The simplest pleasures in life, such as listening, playing and singing his favorite music, traveling with his wife and family, watching old westerns on TV (claiming he still has not seen all of the John Wayne movies although we know he has dozens of times,) and of course shouting at the Dallas Cowboys through the TV, all brought great joy to Hal.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lorraine Ford; daughters Brandie Boulding and husband Mike of Combine, TX, Corie Ford and husband Santiago of Seagoville, TX, and Kelli Creech of Plano, TX; grandchildren Alana Ford (25), Rebekah Pasquinelli (21), Savannah Pasquinelli (17), Nickolas Ford (15), Isabella Ford (13), and Taylor Creech (12); great-grandchildren Adali Ford (7) and Gabriella Ford (5), whose lives were changed because of his humble spirit.
Randy Reagan, a long-time family friend, will officiate for the Ford family.
Pallbearers are Santiago Gonzalez, Claudio Chavez, Mike Dupree, Terry Reed, Dicky Reed, Chase Reed, and Ron Foreman.
