Former Texas resident Greg Moseley, 61, died December 27, 2021, at his home in East Texas.
At his request, no service will be held.
Mr. Moseley was born April 16, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, to Nile Moseley and Wanda Madewell Moseley. Greg could accomplish anything he set his mind to and was always thinking of others. His cousin was a pilot at Southwest Airlines and would call Mr. Moseley when he was in range. Greg would always make a point to surprise him at the gate and would hand off a couple of tamales as a snack.
He started at Southwest Airlines in March of 1985, working in various departments throughout the company, later retiring in March of 2015. From starting out on the ramp during those hot, humid days in Dallas to working his way up and into the scheduling department getting those flight attendants coordinated (surprising his cousin-in-law on the check-in phone) and finally finishing up as an operations agent interacting with crews, passengers, rampers and more. He was an extremely caring person and truly LUV’d his Southwest family. Mr. Moseley is a true Texan, always showing true strength and resiliency to lend a helping hand to a neighbor. He had a few loves in life, one of them being NASCAR and the other the lake, which he later called home. He is survived by his first cousins, Gary Yount and his wife Velma, and Sharlet Holamon and her husband Tom.
Condolences may be sent to P.O. Box 995, Willis, TX 77378.
