Glenda Sue Beaty

Glenda Beaty passed away on May 10, 2022, at 79 years old. She was a resident of the Lake area for over 25 years and made many, many friends here. Her career was in the transportation field, working for Mack Trucks and Nissan Diesel in Dallas. She loved playing cards, watching football, and gambling in Shreveport. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie Webster, granddaughter, Hollie Wooldridge, brother, Marshal Amlin, sister-in-law, Ann Amlin, nieces, Karen Havens, Dianne Medlyn and husband Jay, nephews, Ronnie Amlin and wife Carol, Rickie Amlin and wife Pat, and Gary Cockrill, and many great-nieces and nephews. Hollie is expecting her first great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her parents, Homer and Hazel Amlin, sisters Jean Wood and Ruth Cockrill, and brother, Larry Amlin.
