Gerald Ferguson

Gerald Jean (Jerry) Ferguson was born on March 16, 1943 in Temple, Texas. Jerry graduated from Temple High School and attended North Texas State University. He is survived by his loving wife, of 20 years, Patricia (Trish) Ferguson. She was his best friend, constant companion, fun partner for their gambling trips to Shreveport, vacations to the beach with family and their last memorable trip...on a Caribbean cruise. They loved working their real estate business together for the last 22 years. Jerry is also survived by daughters Monica Beamer and husband Jeffrey of Coppell; Jaime Meador of Forney; Michele Reneau and husband Scott of Trinidad; Laura McFaul and husband Ty of Mabank; and son Kevin Passons and wife Kim of Terrell. He is also survived by a brother, Kenneth Ferguson and wife Kit of Littleton, Colorado, as well as his Step-Father, Walter Beck of Temple, and numerous other family members and friends. Jerry has 11 Grandchildren, Kayle, Cameron, Brendan, Sarah, Ashley, Alexis, Alison, Rayleigh, Caitlyn, Rylan, Tate AND #12, a boy, due April. He did so love those Grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by his Father, Gerald S Ferguson, a daughter Lesley Ann Ferguson and most recently, his Mother, Lucile Beck. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Jerry Ferguson Memorial, c/o Southside Bank, 901 W. Main St. Gun Barrel City, TX 75156. These donations in turn will be sent to NIH in Bethesda, MD, to be used to support Familial Carcinoid Tumor Research. Or, if you prefer, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
Memorial service will be held at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Gun Barrel City, on December 2, 2014 at 2:00 P.M.
