George "Buddy" Dewey Barton SR. was born on August 10, 1935 in Waxahachie to the home of Brian and Goldie Barton and was called home on January 4, 2015. Buddy was the owner of the Fender Mender body shop, and he is survived by his children, George Dewey Barton JR., Freda Ann Barton Baker and husband Gary Lee, Chris Key and fiancAC. Charles Massey, brother-in-law Kenneth Archer, nine grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister, Callie, wife Jaennette "mem," parents Bryan and Goldie Barton, and step-father, Alvin.
Visitation is Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. at Moorhead Epps Funeral Home
Funeral Service is Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Moorhead Epps Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul McKinney officiating.
Burial will follow at Payne Springs Cemetery, Payne Springs TX
