Geneva McClung

November 25, 1920 — October 7, 2012

McClung, Geneva Mae Hurlburt, age 91, was born in the Aley (Kemp), Texas community on 1920 November 25 and expired on Sunday, 2012 October 07 as a resident of the same community. After marriage on 1939 July 15, she and her husband moved to Dallas in the early 1940s to raise their family; they returned after his retirement in 1973 to settle on the property where she grew up. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Buford McClung, Sr.; both

parents, Tom and Carrie Reed Hurlburt; five brothers, Harvey, Andrew, Homer, Horton, and Travis Hurlburt; and a sister, Annie Hurlburt. Left behind in this world to cherish her memory are a son, Buford McClung and wife Magdalena of Aley; twin daughters, Martha Perry of Athens, and Anna and husband Dave Osinsky of Grand Prairie; a sister, Margie Funderburk of Dallas; a brother, T.L. Hurlburt of Dallas; grandchildren Clay, Greg, Chelsea, Amy, Braxton, and

Zarel; seven great-grandchildren; her very special 92-Year old first-cousin, Mary "Sis" Thomas of Aley; and many other relatives and friends a�" she will be sorely missed by all. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13, at 1:30 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's

Witnesses located at 503 N Main Street, Kemp, Texas.
