He leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Brenda Davis; three sons, Gary H. Davis, Jr. and wife Barbara, James B. Davis, and Marcus Davis; eight grandchildren, Gary H. Davis, III, Aubrey Davis, Sadie Davis Morgan Davis, Dylan Davis, Devon Davis, Dustan Davis and Layne Davis; four great-grandchildren, Bentley, Kason, Brooklyn, and Lilli; two sisters, Judy Palacios and husband Raymond, and Sondra Holtman and husband Dave; brother Dwight Davis and wife Betty.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Boyd Davis and Ruth Wilson, two brothers, James Carl Davis and Duane Davis, and one granddaughter, Samantha Davis.
