Frank Jonathan Osborne, 88, passed away on November 13, 2024, at his home in Mabank, Texas. He was born on January 15, 1936, in Wichita, Kansas to parents Jack and Anita (Hughes) Osborne.
Frank spent much of his life traversing the highways of America, working diligently for Tom's Foods and Redman Mobile Homes. His career allowed him to see many parts of the country, and he often enjoyed sharing stories from the road.
Frank was known for his reserved nature. Though a quiet man, his presence was always felt. His passions and interests defined him as much as his work. As an avid sports fan, Frank had a soft spot for the Dallas Cowboys and a particular affection for the Texas Rangers. He even took the unique step of attending umpire school, spending some time as an umpire in the minor leagues—a role he cherished.
In his free time, Frank had a fondness for watching Westerns, with John Wayne films being among his favorites. He was also known to enjoy the simple pleasures in life, often seen hanging out at McDonald's with his friends, where laughter and camaraderie filled the air.
Frank was a man who truly valued his work, friendships, and the joy of simple moments. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Anita Osborne; and his daughter, Dorothy Ann Smith.
