Faye Nell Allison, 90 of Kemp, Texas passed away peacefully with her loved ones at her side on October 28, 2018. She was born on August 13, 1928 in Waco, Texas to the home of Charlie & Alma Miller Hamilton.
Faye loved the Lord… she loved her family deeply… she loved life to the fullest… she strived to be the best daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to everyone. Faye worked at the Salvation Army and also with A & M Agriculture Nutrition Program but the job she enjoyed the most was being a housewife to her late husband H. D. Allison whom she married on February 19, 1943 in Tyler, Texas and their seven daughters. In Faye’s spare time she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Faye is survived by her brother Alvis Ray Hamilton; sister Jane Clements; daughters Barbara Ford of Mabank, Glenda Harley & her husband Charles of Gun Barrel City, June Stinson of Mabank, Jane Horton & her husband Mike of Gun Barrel City, Kay Hardee & her husband Randy of Mabank, Sherry Velez & her husband John of Mabank and Donna Gibson of Mabank. She was blessed with 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Faye will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Faye is preceded in death by her parents, brother Walter Hamilton; sister Marie Dush; her loving husband of 59 years H. D.; grandsons Rodney Stinson and Larry Gibson Jr.
The family would like to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to her roommate Ms. Verna Baker, the staff in hall 3 at the Kemp Care Center, Hospice Plus and all of you all for traveling this journey with us!
