Esther Rena Fine Heard Kamp, age 75, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 7th, 2020, after a gracious and courageous battle with Cancer. She was born Tuesday, January 22nd, 1945, in Moore, Oklahoma, to Hershel H. and Grace Lee Arnett Fine. Esther married at 15 years old to her sweetheart, friend, and love, Harold Cheslie Heard, Sr., on June 1st, 1960, who preceded her in death after 50 years of marriage and later remarried to John D. Kamp on October 5th, 2013.
Esther loved life and people. She was an ordained minister, Chaplin, missionary, teacher, artist and craftswoman, and nurse.
Her life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” She was an example consistently of forgiving. “Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.” Pslams 119:165.
Esther is survived by her children Sherri & husband Gregg Heinzman, Harold & wife Sindy Heard, Kathy & husband Donny Rice, Helen Heard, James & wife Amy Heard, and her husband John Kamp of 6 years; Grandchildren Amber & husband Cameron Swanson, Heather & husband Doug Adams, Dalton & wife Paige Hebel, Sara & husband Shawn Gieser, Victoria Heard, Leah Heinzman and Alexander Heard; plus 8 precious great-grandchildren with one on the way! Also, survived by her twin sisters Mearl Fine and Pearl Fine and her many nephews and nieces. And of course, hundreds of lifelong friends and church family who all knew her well. All of these she loved and were touched by her life.
