Ella Johnson

Ella Jane Johnson passed away peacefully and was called to her home to Heaven on December 21, 2015 at the age of 74. She held on to life for more than a decade despite her health for she was a strong and determined woman. She loved many and always had a knack for remembering loved one's birthdays. She was born at home in Cayuga, TX on November 6, 1941 to loving parents James Joseph Hince and Treva Arlene Hudnall Hince. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother James Elmer Hince, sons Jimmy Clyde Hanna and Thomas Joseph Hanna. Those that knew and loved her know that she was unique and special in many ways. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 32 years Elmer Johnson, sisters Marcella Hince and Mary Airheart, children Davey Lynn Hanna and his wife Norma, Larry Lee Hanna, Kelly Glenn Hanna, Christine Marie Hanna, Tammy Janette Herrmann and her husband Matt, Brian Neal Hanna, 18 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, numerous other family members and many friends.
Visitation is 10:00 A.M. - Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Moorhead Epps Funeral Home
Funeral is 11:00 A.M. - Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Moorhead Epps Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Payne Cemetery, Eustace, TX
