Edward Eugene James

Edward Eugene James 70 of Kemp, Texas was surrounded by his loved ones when he left us on December 6, 2016. He was born on January 18, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to the home of Bennie & Mary Blankinship James. Edward has two brothers Bennie James, Marvin James and he also has three sisters Barbara Fitzgerald, Willie Carson & Patsy Pritchett.
Back in 1964 Edward married his best friend – the love of his life Linda, and together they had 3 children; Eddie James, Laura Simpson and Benje James. The twinkle in Edward’s eye was his 5 grandchildren; Steven Ray James, Mindy Ragan, Ashley James, Dylan James & Joey James. And the 4 great grandchildren; Kacie McCall, Kaleb Ragan, Kaylee Ragan & Kaydee Ragan.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents: Bennie & Mary James and both brothers; Bennie & Marvin James.
Left to cherish Edward’s memories is many other family members and a host of friends. Edward was greatly loved; he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
