Edgar William Baggett, Jr.

Edgar William Baggett, Jr., 76, of Mabank, Texas, passed away on November 4, 2022.  He was born on June 24, 1946, in Waco, Texas, to parents Edgar William Baggett, Sr. and Mary Walker Baggett.

He retired from Raytheon E-Systems as Senior Mechanical Engineer and moved to Mabank to work at ETMC as an EMT.  Ed was Fire Chief for the Enchanted Oaks volunteer fire department and volunteered at Payne Springs Fire Department.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  Ed will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ed is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janie Baggett of Mabank, Texas, sons Michael Baggett of Eustace, and Gerald Baggett and wife Laurie of Mabank; grandchildren Braden Baggett, Chandler Baggett, and Dillon Baggett of McKinney, Kara Huffman and Amber Baggett of Mabank.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ed Sr. and Mary Baggett, daughter Lisa Baggett, sisters Judy Sharp and Denyse Gardner.

Pastor Jonathan Lilley will officiate for the Baggett family.

Pallbearers are Gerald Baggett, Mike Baggett, Braden Baggett, Chandler Baggett, Dillon Baggett, and Stone Huffman.
