Eddie Dale MeHarg, 66, passed away on November 4, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on November 29, 1956, in Terrell, TX; to parents Joe and Dorothy (Weatherford) MeHarg.
One of Eddie's proudest accomplishments in life was marrying Ramona in Possum Kingdom Lake on June 27, 2009. Their union was a testament to their love and devotion to each other. Together they created a warm and loving home that welcomed family and friends with open arms. He and his grandson Gage worked day in and day out building and remodeling the house that Eddie and Ramona called their dream home. Eddie's dedication to Ramona was unwavering, and their bond serves as an inspiration to all who witnessed their genuine connection. Eddie Dale MeHarg will be remembered as a kind-hearted individual who always went above and beyond for others. He had an incredible ability to make everyone around him feel valued and appreciated. His positive spirit was contagious, uplifting those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him.
Eddie dedicated an impressive 29 years of his life to Southwest International Trucks as a Dealer Trainer in Dallas, TX. As a diesel mechanic, he brought expertise and dedication to every project he undertook. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills, Eddie quickly became an invaluable asset to the company. His commitment and work ethic were admired by colleagues and clients alike. Outside of work, Eddie's true joy came from spending time at the lake. He often ventured out into the peaceful surroundings with his remote-controlled airplanes, showcasing both his technical proficiency and innate sense of exploration. This hobby brought him endless hours of joy and allowed him to connect with others who shared the same interest.
Eddie is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Dorothy MeHarg, first wife, Donna MeHarg, and sister, Debbie Stokes.
Eddie is survived by his wife Ramona MeHarg of Gun Barrel City, TX; son, Dale MeHarg and wife Erin of Haslet, TX; daughter, Michelle Thompson and husband Kevin of Garland, TX; son, Bobby MeHarg and wife Monica of Forney, TX; daughter, Heather Rose of Wichita Falls, TX; Lisa Hutchinson and husband of Rodeny of Houston, TX; sister, JoAnn Taylor of Wichita Falls, TX; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, numerous other family and friends.
