Earsie Stanphill

Ersie Launa Stanphill, 91, was born on November 27, 1919 in Red Bay, Alabama, the 8th child of 12 children born to Robert Nelson and Emma Alice Bolton; passed away on December 17, 2010 in Athens, Texas. She was preceded in death by husband Clyne, who died Nov. 6, 1982, 7 brothers Edgar, Chester, Claude, Foy, Odas, Clovis, Kelly, and 1 sister Audrey. She is survived by 2 brothers Robert, Wilbert and wife June, 1 sister Fraulein, one sister in law Beauton, 2 children Ann and husband Ray, Jack and wife Ruth, 6 grandchildren Ron, David and wife Rose, Elaine, Denise and husband Joe, Jill and husband Todd, Jim and wife Kathi, and 11 great-grandchildren Chris and wife Sarah, Jaime, Max, Alex, Spencer, Shania, Haleigh, Jade, Julia, James, Erin, with another great-grandson due in March. Graveside services will be held at Ridge Cemetery in Belmont Mississippi under the direction of Moorhead Epps Funeral Home.
