Dorothy Ray Adair

Dorothy Ray Adair, 76, passed away on January 20, 2022.  She was born on January 30, 1945, in Wills Point, Texas, to parents Percy Joe McLemore and Amie Ruth Furr McLemore.

Dorothy married the love of her life, Kelton, on November 12, 1966.  Together they raised six awesome children.  She loved spending time with her friends and family.  She enjoyed playing games with her kids and son-in-law.  Dorothy also enjoyed spending time with her friend James whom she met at dialysis.  She always loved joking and picking on people.  Dorothy will truly be missed by her family and everyone that knew her.

She is survived by sons Michael Adair and wife Kristi, Jerry Adair, and Bobby Adair; daughters Sharon Adair, Lisa Adair, and Priscilla Sherrard and husband Clifton; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters Helen Ham, and Annette Sherman and husband Jimmy; brother Arthur McLemore; and brother-in-law Jimmy Sherman.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 49 years, K. Kelton Adair, son-in-law Freddie Sherrard, and brother-in-law Thomas Ham.
