Donald "Don" McAnally 74 of Mabank was born August 3, 1939 in Prairieville, Texas to the home of Harvey William McAnally and Mattie Alice Dykes McAnally, passed away November 26, 2013 at his home. Mr. McAnally was a 1958 graduate of Mabank High School where he won state and national awards in FFA competitions. He attended East Texas University before becoming a full-time rancher, local businessman and avid gardener. He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Mattie McAnally. Left to cherish his memory are his life companion Richard L. Downes, brothers Harvey William McAannlly Jr., Joseph Daniel McAnally all of Mabank, TX. niece Joei Danielle McAnnally of North Richland Hills, TX. nephews Joseph McAnally of Denton, TX. Ian McAnally of Redmond, WA., others are Jo Slayton of Granbury, TX, Olene Thomas of Malakoff, TX. Other family members and many friends.
