Donald Wayne Ward

Donald Wayne Ward, 67, of Mabank, TX passed away on June 3, 2019.  He was born December 30, 1951 in the ranch home on Highway 47 to parents Arthur aka " Sock" and Velma Ward .

Donald was born and raised in Mabank and graduated from Mabank High School.

He loved the country. The joy of his life was being on his land, trading cattle and horses, and fishing and hunting.

Donald spent his career as a diesel mechanic employed by ABF in Dallas, TX  for 19 years and retired in 2012.

He is survived by daughter April Sawin; grandson Bryce Sawin; sisters Wanda McLemee, Patsy Hulse, Sherry

Harvell, and Barbara Tebo; brothers Bobby Ray Ward,Jackie Ward, and Robert Ward.

Donald is preceded in death by his daughter Amy Ward...who died on the same day 33 years ago in 1986; father Arthur Luther Ward and mother Velma Mae Ward.

Reverend Barry Boatright with Christian Life Center in Gun Barrel City, TX will be officiating for the Ward family.
