Don Michael Williams 68 was born December 25, 1946 in Gilmer, Texas. He was the first child and only son of Billy Don and Katie Morine White Williams, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 while sleeping at his home in Alvarado, Texas.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Williams worked as a COBOL programmer. He LOVED his Dallas Cowboys.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him for his corny jokes, deep rolling laugh, and kind generosity to those in need. Don was preceded in death by his father and mother, Billy Don and Katie Morine. Survivors include his son, Don Michael Williams Jr. of The Colony;
daughters, Chris Michelle Steigerwald of Grand Prairie and Lee Nichole Williams of Irving;
grandchildren, Stephen Steigerwald and Jennifer Steigerwald;
great granddaughters, Bella and Mila Steigerwald;
sisters, Laura Beth Junell of Midlothian, Dorothy Kathleen Williams of Alvarado, and April Dianne Higbee of Oakgrove, Missouri;
numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held on June 11, 2015, 10:30 am at Moorhead-Epps Funeral Home, 750 East Main Street, Gun Barrel City, TX 75156.
Private burial was held at Moorehead-Melton Cemetery, County Road 2904, Eustace, TX 75124.
