Dixie Charlene Glenn

Dixie Charlene Glenn, 85, passed away on October 8, 2020.  She was born on August 17, 1935, in Dallas, Texas, to the home of Charley and Oscar Mae Rogers.

She was a mom right out of the ‘50s.  She was a hard worker; she worked for Sears in the Catalog Department for over 30 years, while also making sure her family was taken care of.  Even though she worked outside the home, there was a cooked hot meal every day for her family, a clean house, and clean and pressed clothes to wear.  She enjoyed making craft items to decorate their home.  During the past few years, she has passed the time working puzzle books.  Dixie loved her family and gave them a strong foundation to carry them thru life.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by children Donna Ross and husband Walter, Mike Glenn and wife Leah; grandchildren Cynthia Frazier, Traci Ross, Troy Ross, Jami Snider, Tonya Douglas, Alicia Glenn, and David Glenn; great-grandchildren Alyssa Ross, Myles Eubanks, Aubrey Eubanks, Trevor Douglas, Tara Douglas, Isaac Snider, Maximus Snider, Dominic Ross, Jaxson Ross, Benjamin Ross, Braxton Glenn, Jaxson Rose, Lane Burcham, Ross Burcham, and Blythe Ann Burcham; brothers Donnie Rogers and Charles Rogers.
