Debra Ann Garrett

Debra Ann Garrett, 58, passed away on May 1, 2022.  She was born on January 24, 1964, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Charles Henry Garrett and Wilma Jean Lindsey Garrett.

Debbie started working at a very early age.  She had her hands on many different crafts and was “a jack of all trades,” per se.  She loved to do things that many other people like to do, fishing and watching football.  The Dallas Cowboys were her favorite team.  She enjoyed every moment she could with her grandkids and would do anything for them.  She always made sure to be there for any family member who was going through a tough time or needed a shoulder to cry on, and she would give them the shirt off her back if she knew it would help.  Debbie was very proud of her sons and the grandchildren they gave her, and she made sure to tell them at every opportunity how much she loved and cared for them.  She had a hard time in life and suffered from different illnesses, but she always found a way to push through to be there for her family.  Debbie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Debbie is survived by sons Dwayne Garrett and wife Meagan and Chris Garrett; grandchildren Savanna Garrett, Hailey Garrett, Caleb Garrett, and Autumn Garrett; sisters Charlene White, Vickie Garrett, and Cindy Willingham; brothers Charles Henry Garrett, Jr. “Hoot,” Jason Garrett, and Larry Garrett and wife Denise; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles Henry Garrett and Wilma Garrett; brother Charles Allen Garrett, and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Garrett.
