Deborah Lynn Golden

Deborah Lynn Golden of Canton, Texas, 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 6, 2022.  Deborah was born on September 26, 1952, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Thomas Edell Martin and Margie Lorraine Hamilton Martin.

Deborah was known for her many wonderful attributes; first and foremost, the fierce and loyal love of her family and friends.  She always offered a strong shoulder, an open ear, endless compassion, encouragement, an infectious laugh, and a guaranteed smile.  Deborah loved to travel and has ventured all over the country in her search for a little R&R, a shot glass from each city and state, and most importantly, the thrill of a new and exciting blackjack table!  If you knew Deborah, you knew her zest for life and you always felt better in her presence.

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Kimberley Griffin and husband Jay, and her son, Brad Winkles; grandchildren Katherine Krull and husband Josh, Brady Luke Griffin, and Cameron Winkles; great-granddaughter Joslin; sister-in-law Ann Schmalz; adored nieces and nephews; and her two best friends Terri and Erica.

Deborah is preceded in death by her parents Thomas Martin and Margie and Lee Roy Goss, her husband Ira Jeff Golden, and her sisters Brenda Harmon and Anne Shanks.
