Deborah Coleen Brody of Seven Points, Texas, where she lived with her husband, Brian Brody, passed away on August 21, 2024, at UT Health in Athens, TX. Deb was born in Tyler, Texas, and spent her early years in Prescott, AR, where she lived with her grandparents until she was 11, after which she moved back to Tyler, Texas, with her mother, Birdie Lou. Deb attended Robert E. Lee High School and raised her family in Whitehouse, Texas.
Deb retired from Trane Corporation in Tyler in early 2016. When her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, she cared for her mom for five years.
Deb was a Tea Party Conservative and an election poll worker.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Brody, of Seven Points, Texas; her half-sister, Ronda Ross of St. Paul, MN; her daughter, Kelli Moseley and her husband, Wade, of Green River, WY; her daughter, Holli Ryan and her husband, Jamie, of Haslet, TX; her stepson, Matthew Brody and his wife, Brittany, of Newark, MD; her stepson, David Traub and his wife, Debbie, of Sherman, TX; her stepson, Daniel Brody and his wife, Allison, of Stanton, NC; her stepson, Ben Brody of Belair, MD; her grandchildren, Taylor and Lauren Murphy of Woodland, CA; Jacob and Cydney Moseley of Modesto, CA; James Lane Dickens of Tyler, TX; Corey Maxfield of Sherman, TX; Coleby Maxfield of Green River, WY; Tanner Moseley of River Forest, IL; Trevor and Raylee Brody of Newark, MD; Ashlyn Altobello of Haslet, TX; Trevor and Forest Miller of Haslet, TX; Maryellen Traub of Sherman, TX; and three great-grandchildren, Weston Murphy, Emma Moseley, and Colt Moseley. She is also survived by cousins Chris and Kristi Dulin of Gurdon, AR; Dr. Alan Dulin of Plano, TX; as well as many other family members, friends, and loved ones.
