No funeral services are planned at this time On November 20, 2012, our loving mother & grandmother, Deanna Faye Norton Crowder, passed away at her home in Seven Points, Texas. She was born in El Paso, Texas, June 29, 1938 to Marjorie Hilworth Norton and Marcus Norton. She met and married her husband of 50 years, William Tommy Crowder, becoming a military wife, traveling across the globe. The couple had three children. They settled in San Antonio, Texas, where she worked as a secretary and for QVC. She was active in Eastern Star and served as Worthy Matron from 1986-1987. She and her husband moved to Show Low, Arizona, in 1995 to be with her family. There she worked and was very active in her church and volunteered at the local hospital. In 2008, she moved to Texas with her daughter and family. She loved butterflies, the outdoors, genealogy, traveling, crafting and being with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Tommy Crowder, infant child and parents. She is survived by her sons, Brian and Darin and his wife Stephanie and daughter, Jennifer and her husband Rob Meelkop, her four grandsons, Brandon, Joshua, Dylan & Jason as well as her sisters Jeanne her husband Don Hunsaker and Carole and her husband Richard Eason, Cathy and her husband Bob Bruce, brother Tom Ledet and many relatives and friends.
