Darryl Lynn Watson was born in Houston, Texas on November 1, 1950, to Cecil and Durelle Watson.
Darryl served 20 years in the United States Army. Once he retired from the military, he started working at the Department of Criminal Justice, and he was with them for 15 years. Darryl also worked for Henderson and Anderson County for five years. In Darryl’s spare time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. But mostly Darryl cherished spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving son, brother, husband, grandfather and a great friend to many.
Those left to cherish his memory: wife of 16 years, Renita Elaine Watson. Sister, Madelyne and her husband Billy Wardrup and brother, John and his wife, Virginia Waston. Sons, Sean and his wife Larisa Waston, Richard and Marisol Waston, and Getzell and his wife, Shea Lynn Murrell. Daughter, Elonda and her husband, James Epps. Grandchildren, Keanu Lynn, Logan Rain, Esperanza, Desiree, Faith, and Melissa Watson, DeMarcus Epps, Jayden, Kaleb, and Tyler Murrell. Darryl has many other family members and a host of friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
