Darrell "Bruce" Reed, a cherished father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024 at the age of 71. Born on August 8, 1953, Bruce lived a life filled with diverse interests and a profound dedication to his family.

Bruce had a passion for tinkering with computers, demonstrating a remarkable curiosity and skill that many admired. He found joy in simpler pleasures, embracing the tranquility of fishing and immersing himself in the pages of captivating books. An avid sports enthusiast, he was particularly devoted to the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns, cheering passionately for his teams.

Beyond his hobbies, Bruce’s most significant legacy lies in his role as a father and grandfather. He is survived by six biological children, two stepchildren, three brothers, one sister, and numerous grandchildren who will carry forth his memory and teachings.

Bruce proudly served his country in the United States Army, reflecting his commitment and service to a greater cause. His dedication and love for his family will resonate with all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Denise Reed, and his parents, Harold and Delphine Reed. Their memories will remain cherished in the hearts of those who loved him. Bruce's warmth and spirited personality will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
