Corey August Diehl

Corey August Diehl, 45, passed away on April 25, 2021.  He was born on August 11, 1975, in Dallas, Texas, to Wilbur McCarther and Rosa Marie Diehl.

He was a protector and provider and a loving, caring person who enjoyed spending time with family.  He loved to play games, listen to music, and dance.  He would always try to liven up the party by joking and acting silly but at the same time do his best to keep us all calm.  Hobbies included camping and fishing, but most of all, reading and being by himself.

We all love you and miss you.  There will always be a special place in our hearts for you.  Yes, you will be missed but never forgotten.  Love you, and may you rest in peace.  Tell everyone up in Heaven hi for us, and we love and miss them too.  And till we meet again, take care of each other and watch over us.

Corey is survived by his mother, Rosa Marie McGuire; brothers Robert Dailey, Wilbur Diehl, Jr., Paul Diehl, Dearl Diehl, and Dean Diehl; sister Pamela Prestridge; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Wilbur McArthur Diehl, Sr.

Pastor Michael Nelson with Rope, Catch & Ride for Christ Cowboy Church in Mabank, Texas, will officiate for the Diehl family.

Pallbearers are Wilbur Diehl, Jr., Paul Diehl, Robert Dailey, Dearl Diehl, Bryan Meadows, and Phillip Garcia.
