Clarence Steve Amos, 75, passed away on June 10, 2020. He was born on May 25, 1945, in Bluefield, VA, to the home of Clarence and Ethel Amos.
Steve was born and raised in the mountains of Virginia, the place he loved most of all. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was a master carpenter by trade. Steve retired as chief carpenter for the State Fair of Texas after 35 years. The thing he loved most of all was his wife, children, family, and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Steve is survived by his wife Christine Amos; children Steve Amos and wife Terri, Kris Bable and husband Chuck, Tammie Amos, and Cheyenne Hall and husband Brian; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother Robert Amos and wife Carol; and sister Diana Richardson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother Ray Amos.
