Bobbie Eugene Russell, 68, was born in Harriman, Tennessee on December 2, 1942 to the home of Drew and Irene Russell and passed away September 27, 2011. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years Laura Russell, his mother Irene Helton, children Thomas Lane Russell, Robert Lee Boyd and his wife Virginia, Laurel Hoff, Brenda Glisson, Thomas Boyd, brother Alan Russell, sisters Roseland McGuire, Teresa Handel, Donna Molter, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, numerous other family members and many friends. Bobbie had a strong spiritual faith, was a minister for several years and enjoyed teaching the youth groups at church. He also was a journeyman, transmission mechanic, and built show cases for Niemen-Marcus. Services will be held Thursday 2:00 PM September 29, 2011 at Moorhead Epps Funeral Home in Gun Barrel City officiated by Rev. Willie Perry.
