Billy Joe Breedlove, 58, passed away on September 16, 2021, in Cayuga, Texas. He was born on January 4, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, to Joseph Warren and Joan York Breedlove.
He grew up in Garland, Texas, raised by Joan and Willis McDuff. Billy accepted Christ into his life in his teen years. He was an active member of Rockin’ Country Church of Kemp, Texas. Billy was a member of Ray of Hope AA group in Seven Points, Texas, where he received his 20-year sober coin. He also mentored kids struggling with addiction. Billy was known throughout the community as a hard-working man, running his business to help the community churches with his lawn mowing services. He was always looking for his next project. Billy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother Joan McDuff; stepfather Willis McDuff; children Reba Gonzalez, David Breedlove, and Cory Breedlove; brothers Cliffton Breedlove and wife Jan, and Jerry Breedlove; sisters Nita Byrd and husband Kenneth, Wanda Little, Mary Long and husband Shelton, and Sherry Stone; many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Billy is preceded in death by his father Joseph Warren Breedlove; brother Charles Breedlove; and sister Lisa Doughty.
Pastor David J. Woodham “Woody” will officiate for the Breedlove family.
