Billy J. Lenamond

Billy John Lenamond was called from the arms of his loving family to those of his heavenly Father on November 4, 2020, at his daughter’s house in Whitesboro, Texas, after a 6-month battle with cancer.  He was born in Thornton, Texas, on October 27, 1933, to Rex and Amilee Lenamond.

He retired from 1st National Bank Dallas as a Senior Vice President of Data Processing.  He was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Mabank, where he and his loving wife Becky served in many ways.  He also had many friends in the Cedar Creek Lake Community, where he lived for the last 25 years.  He was a member of the Cedar Creek Country Club, where he loved the game of golf.

Billy was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years Becky Lenamond; mother Amilee Lenamond; father Rex Lenamond; brothers Buddy Lenamond and wife Cheryl, Henry Lenamond and wife Jane; sister Peggy Haley and husband Jimmy; and daughter Patricia Martin.

Billy is survived by daughter Susan Tishmack and husband Leon; daughter Shannon Wallace; brother-in-law Don Meadows and wife Brenda; sister-in-law Joan Bostic and husband Eddie; grandchildren Christian Hackney and wife Susan, Jason Hackney, Billy Haley and wife Camille, Briana Eriksen and husband Dalton, and Dakota Tishmack; great-grandchildren Jason Hackney, Kamryn Gentry, Jackson Haley, Karlyn Tishmack, Mason Haley and Kinzee Eriksen.
