Billy Boehme

Billy Ray Boehme 83, of Gun Barrel City was born November 22, 1931 in Liberty, OK. To the home of Charley Boehme and Ella Harris Boehme , passed away at his home March 24, 2015. He attended Mabank, TX schools and joined the Army in 1949 served his country until 1952. After his discharge from the military he began working for Southwestern Bell Telephone company and retired from there in 1982 after 30 years of loyal service. On December 7, 1950 he married Billie Jean Bridges. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Charlie Boehme. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years Billie Jean, a son Mark Boehme and his wife Anne, daughter Cindy Gallant and her husband Tom, brothers Jerry Boehme, Hollis Boehme, sisters Doris Faye Logan, Anita Boehme, Nelda Sexton grandchildren Josh Flanery, Joe Flanery, Justin Gallant, Chrissy Earls, great grandchildren Coby Barnes, Adin Barnes, numerous other family members and many friends.Pall bearers will be Josh Flanery, Joe Flanery, Tom Gallant, Justin Gallant, David Earls, and James Sexton. Funeral services will be Friday March 27, 2015 at Moorhead Epps Funeral Home in Gun Barrel City, TX. With Bro. Mike Adalian officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Mabank, TX.
