Billie Sue Barnett

Billie Sue Barnett, 88, passed away on December 7, 2021, at home.  She was born on April 23, 1933, in Ennis, Texas, to CL Thomas and Vera Syble Maples Thomas.

She was a member of D.A.R., Daughter of American Revolution, and Eastern Star.  She graduated from Grand Prairie High School.  She was born in Ennis, Texas, and lived in Payne Springs most of her life.  Billie met the love of her life, Billy Barnett in 1944, and they were married for 70 years.  She is dearly loved by her whole family and will be forever missed.

Billie is survived by her husband Billy Joe Barnett; children Sherie Sarff and husband Jim, and Randy Barnett and wife Faye; four grandchildren River Jordan, Alex Adams, Cody Barnett, and Ashley Barnett; four great-grandchildren Azalea Jordan, Eli Barnett, Ryker Barnett, and Witten Barnett.

She is preceded in death by her parents CL Thomas and Vera Syble Thomas.
