Billie Jean Anderson, 75, of Kemp, Texas, passed away on August 18, 2022, peacefully at home in her bed. Billie was born on May 25, 1947, in Aley, Texas.
Isaiah 57:1-2
The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk upright enter into peace: they find rest as they lie in death.
She is survived by daughter Shannon Wilson and husband Todd, daughter Aimee Anderson, son Jayme Anderson and wife Shellye, and daughter Jill Harrod and husband Kelly; grandchildren Amanda and John Medellin, Kristina and Chad Case, Tyler and Elizabeth Anderson, Cameron and Brittany Anderson, Lucy and Tommy Lewis, Joshua Anderson, Michael Anderson, Dakota Anderson, Brett Anderson, Lillye Wilson, Weslyeann Anderson, B.J. Harrod, Bethany Harrod, and Brooklyn Harrod; 15 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends that she loved dearly.
Billie is preceded in death by her father O.B. Ray, Sr. and mother Katie Ray; her husband of 40 years Larry Anderson; sisters Patsy Ray and Geneva Barnes; brothers Gary Ray, David Ray, Jimmy Ray and brother and sister-in-law O.B. and Becky Ray.
