Beverly Renaeu

Beverly Ann Reneau, 76, of 1000 Angies Crossing, Tool, TX, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010, at the East Texas Medical Center in Athens. She was the daughter of the late Frank Augustus and Elsie Trende Switzer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Frank Augustus Switzer, Jr.; daughter Sherry Lynn Peters; and stepson Richard Reneau. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Mearl Dee Reneau; two sons, Gary Peters and wife Susan, and Scott Peters and wife Carol, of Wisconsin; one sister, Susan Dolata and husband Michael of North Carolina; one stepson, Michael Reneau and wife Carlene of Texas; grandchildren, Heidi Peters Green and husband Gilbert of Wisconsin; Heather Peters of Washington; Christopher Peters; Sofia Peters; Jennifer Peters, all of Wisconsin; Tammy Gibson of Texas; Scott Reneau and wife Michelle of Texas; and great-grandchildren Giovani Green, Courtney and Cheyanne Gibson, and Kayle Reneau. Beverly saw the positive and humorous side of every situation and could always bring a smile to your face. She enjoyed life and loved people. She retired from Texas Instruments. Beverly was a member of Providence Baptist Church, 1016 Church Road, Tool, Texas. A memorial service is planned at the church at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010, with Brother Tobey Clements, Pastor, officiating. There will be a time immediately following the service to visit with the family at the church. Moorhead-Epps Funeral Home of Gun Barrel City is in charge of arrangements.
