Betty Jane Jean Born May 24, 1940 in Eldorado, Arkansas to the home of Clarence Halbrook Sr. and Vonnie Howard Halbrook, and passed away in Athens, TX. March 3, 2010 with her family at her side. Left to cherish her memory are her children Kenneth Ray Jean Jr. and his wife Kelley, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Gary Wayne Jean Sr. and his wife Stacy of Glenn Heights, Texas, Debra Lee Jean and her fiancAC.e Shane Cannamore, both of Jacksonville, Texas brother Clarence Halbrook Jr. and his wife Linda of Midlothian, Texas sisters Patty James and her husband Garland of Gun Barrel City, Texas, Janie Hendrick and her husband Carl of Sherman, Texas grandchildren Jacob Jean, Jade Jean, Jesse Jean, Gary Wayne Jean Jr. and his wife Patricia, Steven Michael Jean and his wife Kasie, great grandchildren Raygen Jean, Brook Jean, numerous other family members, her church family and many friends. Her husband Kenneth Ray Jean Sr., brother V.C. Halbrook and sister Judy Rhodes preceded her in death. Betty was a faithful member of Liberty Baptist Church and worked as a school bus driver for many years. Those who knew her will miss her sweet and kind spirit. I
