Vent, Austin Lee Jr., 78 born April 27, 1930 in Cleveland County, Arkansas to the home of Austin Lee Vent Sr. and Bessie Estelle Greenlee Vent passed away February 11, 2009 in Gun Barrel City, Texas. His wife of 54 years Joan Modean Vent, Eustace, TX. daughters Wanda Jean Vent, Andrea Lee Vent, Frisco, TX. Sons Samuel Wayne Vent, and his wife Sharon Ann Kuhn Vent, Payne Springs, TX. Steven Lynn Vent, Eustace, TX grandsons Andrew Wayne Vent and his wife Tiffany Pryor Vent, Shane Kody Vent, College Station, TX. great granddaughter Isabella Jade Vent, Royse City, TX. brothers Kenneth Vent, Van, TX. Charles Vent, Mesquite, TX. sister Sybil Vent Yarbrough and her husband Bob Yarbrough, Arlington, TX. are left to cherish his memory. His parents preceded him in death. Austin served in the United States Army, Artillery Weapon Battalion during the Korean Conflict. Funeral Services were held Saturday February 14, 2009 at the China Grove Baptist Church. Officiating the service were Rev. David Harkins. Burial was in the Kemp Cemetery, Kemp, TX.
