Arliss Clevelon Stone, 85, passed away on April 24, 2021. He was born on October 27, 1935, in Henderson County, to Marshall and Mattie Mae Stone.
Dad married the love of his life, Jo Marie Ballard, on February 3, 1956. Prior to her December 27, 2020 passing, they were married 64 years. He served in the US Army and was honorably discharged on August 26, 1960. He was employed at Collins Radio, which became Rockwell International, which eventually became Alcatel. Throughout the transitions, he remained loyal to his employer for over 35 years. He loved to go fishing and enjoyed farming and bird watching. Dad was a faithful and honorable husband and father. He was shrewd in financial matters and a good provider for the family. He diligently instilled the value of hard work into us. Most of all, his faith and trust in Jesus Christ led his family to a personal knowledge and relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We love you, Dad, and always will.
He is survived by daughters Donna Lynch and husband Bryan and Suzette Stone; grandchildren Justin Mormon, David Mormon, and Hannah Mormon; five great-grandsons.
A.C. is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 64 years, Jo Marie Stone.
Pastor Richard Fulton with Central Baptist Church in Mabank, Texas, will officiate for the Stone family.
Pallbearers are Bryan Lynch, Johnny Hunter, Chris Hunter, Justin Mormon, Brad Fulton, and Richard Fulton.
