Arlene Gail Hitt

Arlene Gail Hitt of Tool, Texas passed away peacefully on September 15, 2017 in Tyler, Texas.  She was born May 10, 1952 to Maurice & Geraldine Foulk.  She grew up with in a loving home with her best friend and dear sister Beth McDonald.

Arlene graduated from Spruce High School in Dallas, Texas in 1970.  She was blessed with a daughter Eunice Martinez.  Her biggest joy was having 3 grandchildren; Max, Maverick & Belan.  For many years she worked in the PR field.  Her biggest country music band that she helped promote was Alabama.  Just a few years ago she started working at the Family Recourse Center in Gun Barrel City, Texas.  While there she met and fell in love with Gerald “Red” Curnutte.  In Arlene’s spare time she enjoyed listening to any and all kinds of music and playing with her beloved dog Sassy.  But mostly he enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and a dear friend to many.  Arlene has a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Arlene is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Eunice Martinez.
