Anna Rohanda Huff

Anna Rohanda Huff, age 65, of Kemp, Texas, passed away on December 3, 2024, in Athens, Texas. She was born on September 13, 1959, in Denton, Texas to parents Doyce and Martha (Riddle) Pendleton.

Anna was a vibrant soul, known for her sassy personality and her unwavering ability to speak her mind. She had a remarkable sense of humor that could light up any room, making friends and family alike feel at home.

Anna was not one to shy away from hard work. Known for her impatience, she preferred to tackle tasks herself rather than wait for someone else to lend a hand. Yet, beneath this fierce exterior lay a loving heart. Anna was the kind of person who would give you the clothes off her back and would do anything for those she cared about.

One of her beloved hobbies was baking, particularly around the holiday season when her famous Christmas cookies would bring joy to everyone who had the pleasure of tasting them. Whether whipping up treats in her kitchen or spending time outdoors, Anna embraced life with enthusiasm and warmth.

While she may no longer be with us, those who knew her will undoubtedly remember her as a truly one-of-a-kind individual. Anna's legacy of humor, generosity, and the irresistible allure of her homemade cookies will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew her.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents, Doyce and Martha Pendleton; brothers, Lester Pendleton Jr., and Roy Keith Pendleton.

Anna is survived by her husband, Danny Huff; son, KC Huff and wife Danielle of Kemp, Texas; daughter, Shanna Huff of Houston, Texas; son, Kenneth Overturf and wife Ashley of Wills Point, Texas; daughter, Angie Day and husband Brent of Winterset, Iowa; sisters, Gwen Wright and husband Kenneth of Kemp, Texas; Martha Sublett and husband Jimmy of Kemp, Texas; grandchildren, Andrea, Jordan, Blake, Gavin, Starla, Zachary, Michael, Jimmy, Ty, Taylor, Madison, Denea, and Danni, great-grandchildren, Kaysn, Jaysn, Jordyn, and Evan, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
