Angelene Victoria Epps

Angelene Victoria “Vicki” Epps, 70, of Kemp, Texas passed away on July 21, 2019, after a lengthy illness.  She was born September 6, 1948, in Louisville, KY to Robert and Elizabeth Davis.

She is survived by her children Thomas Samuel “Sam” Epps, as well as John Howard Epps, Jr. and wife Lita, and Andrew Epps and wife Alison; brother Stephen Davis; sister-in-law Linda Epps Fullen, and sister-in-law Rebecca Epps Stewart and husband Dennis; and grandchild James Alexander Epps.

Vicki was a faithful member of the Anglican Church in America (ACA), and always kept the church and its members in her prayers. She was often known to spend long days cleaning and preparing her church for services.

She loved animals and was always likely to take in a stray and nurse it back to health. She also loved plants and growing things, and kept fresh vegetables available most times of the year.

Vicki is preceded in death by her parents; husband John Howard Epps, Sr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law Garnet Alexander and Freddie Mae Epps.
