Andrew “Andy” Wayne Fleming, 39, passed away on July 12, 2023, in Gun Barrel City, Texas. He was born on July 5, 1984, in Mesquite, Texas to parents Charles and Evelyn (Free) Fleming.
Andy was a graduate of Mabank High School (Class of 2002), where he was a very popular and well-liked student. He was incredibly outgoing and was known as the class clown. Andy had a passion for videogames, his favorites were Madden and GTA. He also loved all sports and participated in baseball, basketball, football, and soccer, and he greatly enjoyed attending professional sporting events as well. Andy met his best friend and love of his life, Larisha and they were married on December 26, 2017, in Athens, Texas. Andy has been described as “a character” by his family, he never met a stranger and felt like it was his job to make everyone laugh. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Andy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Max and Zelma Fleming, and by his maternal grandparents, John and Joy Free.
Andy is survived by his wife, Larisha Fleming of Malakoff, Texas; his parents, Charles and Evelyn Fleming of Tool, Texas; his brother, Charles Fleming, Jr. of Gun Barrel City, Texas; his lifelong friends, Brandon Hunter, Clifton Gregg, Keith Bradshaw, and Timothy Vandiver; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and numerous friends.
