Allyne Dasner

Allyne Dasner, 97, of Mabank was born March 12, 1917 to the home of Reagan Graham and Alsa Whitley Graham in the Cottonwood, TX. Community, and passed away January 22, 2015 in Athens, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert G. Dasner, son Ronald Reagan, Perkins, grandson Terry Booth, great grandson Eric Layne Gordon, sister Joyce McFaul, brother-in-laws Bob McGaul, George Meredith, brother G.W. Graham, and son-in-laws Jim Gordon, and Shelton Witt. Allyne is survived by her children Lynn Gordon, of Mabank, TX. Sandy "Mike" Reese and his wife Carol of Flint, TX. Vicki Witt of Dallas, TX. Debbie Anderson and her husband Burl of Mansfield, TX. Tanya Wrather and her husband Paul of Mabank, TX. Sister Carolyn Meredith of Duncanville, TX. Eighteen grand children, twenty-five great grandchildren, twenty-one great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends. Allyne worked twenty one years in the nursery at the First United Methodist Church in Mabank. She also worked at the Buckner Orphanage Home from 1949 until 1957. She was a Baptist by faithand loved her savior. Family and friends remember "G.G." as being quick witted, comical, extremely loving, faithful and an amazing woman. A memorial service will be held Saturday February 7, 2015 at the Clearview Church 32651 F M 47 Canton, TX 75103
